Aftercare Instructions
So you finally did it, you took the big step and have officially gotten your first piercing or tattoo. Or maybe you’re an old pro and this is just another in your vast collection. Either way, if you take the time to properly care for it now, you shouldn’t have any problems with it later on.
All new tattoos and piercings require care, the skin/tissue has been damaged and using proper aftercare techniques will determine how well you heal. Slight swelling and redness can be normal and can last for a few hours, and there may be some bleeding or weeping, don’t worry, this is your body healing itself.
